Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the ONZE website (onzeclubla.com), applying for membership, registering for events, purchasing merchandise, or otherwise engaging with ONZE services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
ONZE reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Membership
ONZE is a private, membership-based pickleball club. Membership is granted at ONZE's sole discretion following an application review process. ONZE reserves the right to accept, deny, suspend, or revoke any membership at any time, for any reason, without obligation to provide an explanation.
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You agree not to share your login information or transfer your membership to another person.
Event Participation
By registering for any ONZE event, you agree to:
- Arrive on time and follow all event guidelines communicated by ONZE staff
- Conduct yourself in a respectful, sportsmanlike manner toward all participants, staff, and venue personnel
- Comply with the Waiver, Release & Media Consent applicable to all Events
- Accept that event details (date, time, location, format) may be subject to change at ONZE's discretion
- Understand that registration does not guarantee entry if you violate any terms or policies
Code of Conduct
ONZE is committed to fostering a welcoming and respectful community. All members and participants agree to:
- Treat all individuals with respect and courtesy
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior of any kind
- Follow the rules and etiquette of pickleball and respect all venue policies
- Not attend events while under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol
- Report any concerns or incidents to ONZE staff promptly
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from an Event and/or permanent revocation of membership, at ONZE's sole discretion.
Payments & Refunds
Paid event tickets and merchandise purchases are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All payments are in USD. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content on the ONZE website — including text, graphics, logos, images, photography, branding, and software — is the property of ONZE or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any ONZE content without prior written consent.
The ONZE name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ONZE. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
User Content
Any content you submit through the platform (applications, messages, event feedback) grants ONZE a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such content for operational purposes. You represent that you own or have the right to submit any content you provide.
Privacy
Your use of ONZE services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ONZE and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the platform or services
- Your participation in any Event
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data
- Statements or conduct of any third party
ONZE's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to ONZE in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The ONZE platform and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
